Aftab Siddiqui is a Technical Engagement Manager at the Internet Society. He has been in this position since November 2016.

Career History

Senior Internet Technology Manager at the Internet Society and leading the MANRS (Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing Security) initiative. MANRS is a global community driven initiative encouraging network service providers, Internet exchange points, Cloud and CDN operators to implement basic network security measures to secure the global routing system.

Previously: Chief Technologist at Eintellego Networks Pty Ltd. Eintellego Networks is a specialist network systems integrator that has been involved in the building of over 200 ISPs and countless enterprise networks. Eintellego Networks has designed, deployed, and managed many creative, operation critical, and robust networks.

ICANN Involvement

Siddiqui has crafted multiple successful policy proposals in APNIC. He has also served as ICANN Fellowship Committee Member and the Chair of the Address Council. He has been SANOG Program Committee Co-Chair and a MENOG Program Committee Member.

Outside of attending ICANN Meetings, Siddiqui is involved in the IGF, RIR Meetings including APNIC and RIPE. [1]
