Dr. Ajay Data is known as innovator and "Father of Internet" for the Rajasthan State (India) to bring private Internet services first time in state way back in 1999. Dr. Ajay Data is founder of Data Infosys Limited. He is credited globally[1] to bring working Email Address Internalization[2] with Advance Downgrading[3] Solution to the world, which is known as XgenPlus. Dr. Data is also Co-Chair of ICANN - Neo Brahmi Generation Panel and EAI-Coordinator of UASG.TECH.
ICANN
Dr. Data was invited in ICANN57, ICANN60,ICANN61 to present about EAI success and its challenges. He also presented on IDNs and EAI in APTLD72 and SANOG. Dr. Data is Co-Chair of ICANN - Neo Brahmi Generation Panel[4] and EAI-Co-coordinator of UASG.TECH.
History
Ajay Data was born on 22 March 1973 in Khairthal, Alwar District Rajasthan. After completing his school education from Indra Happy School and Government Higher Secondary School, Khairthal, he moved to Jaipur for college studies.
After completion of his studies, Dr. Data decided to start an ISP business for which he tried to contact with Satyam, the leading Internet service provider of the year 1998 on partnership basis. Data didn't find the terms and conditions good enough so he decided to start his own ISP venture Data Infosys Ltd in Rajasthan.
Education
Data studied commerce at the Commerce College, and fashion designing from JD Institute of Fashion Technology, MBA from Newport University (California) and PhD in Electronic Data Processing from Netherlands Open University. Dr. Data is active pranic healer and active practitioner.
Innovation on EAI / IDN email
Ajay Data has successfully rolled out IDN Supporting mailbox for .भारत (bharat in Hindi) and several other languages through XgenPlus Email solution. On 18th October 2016 an APP on Android and IOS known as DATAMAIL was launched in India supporting 8 Indian languages (Hindi, Gujrati, Marathi, Tamil, Telgu, Bangali, Urdu and Punjabi) and 3 International languages (Russian, Arabic and Chinese) for email address in 12 languages (including English). Anyone can download DATAMAIL app and get an EAI / IDN compatible email address FREE on mobile.
EAI - Email Downgrading
Internationalization (UTF8SMTP) extension allows UTF-8 characters in SMTP envelope and mail header fields. To avoid rejecting internationalized Email messages when a server in the delivery path does not support the UTF8SMTP extension, some sort of converting mechanism is required. This is known as Downgrading mechanism for Email Address Internationalization. The entire protocol is now part of RFC 6530,31. Dr. Ajay Data has enhanced and proposed the downgrading mechanism and instead of standard downgrading to punycode. Dr. Data has recommended to downgrade it to a desired ASCII email address. XgenPlus offers ASCII+EAI address in one mailbox and allows user to downgrade to either punycode or ASCII address. This method was demonstrated during UASG workshop in ICANN60 and was accepted as recommended practice for other EAI practitioners. UASG.TECH recommends downgrading to alias as a best practice.
