Alan Barrett was appointed by the AfriNIC Board to represent AfriNIC to the NRO Number Council for one year, starting in January, 2011.[1] He was appointed by AfriNIC to ICANN's Address Supporting Organization to serve through 2012; he also serves as that body's Vice-Chair.[2]
