Andrey Vorobiev is the the head of external relations and communications at RU-CENTER, on eof the major domain name services provider in Russia. [1]. He played an important role in the development and promotion process for varioius TLDs for Russia including .MOSCOW and .МОСКВА.[2]

He is the official spoke-person for different national domain releted news, events and policies for Moscow and Russia. He frequently makes international news by announcing important Russian landmarks such as Cyrillic (.рф)[3], the first ever Internet domain to use a national language script, the official suspension order for a Russian bittorent site [4], the announcement of a 3,000,000th .ru domain[5]

etc. He also acts as the official deligations for Russian Domain Industry in different national[6] and international [7] events and meetings.
