Attila Ozgit is the Administrator at nic.tr and a Faculty at Middle East Technical University (METU). [1] His specialities include research and Development in Computer and Network Security .
Attila Ozgit has a B.Sc. in Operations Research (1974 — 1979), M.Sc. in Computer Engineering (1981 — 1983) and a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering (1988 — 1994) from Middle East Technical University. [2]. He also has another Ph.D. in Computer Engineering (1987 — 2004) from Orta Dogu Teknik Üniversitesi.
Career History
- From 1993 to 1998 Attila Ozgit served as the Director of Middle East Technical University / Computer Center
- From 2002 to 2007 he acted as the Founding Partner of Pro-G Information Security and Research Ltd.
- He joined Middle East Technical University as Faculty at Dept. of Computer Engineering in 1986.
- He has been servig as the Administrator of nic.tr / .tr Domain Name Registry since 1992
