Barbara Fraser is the Director of Innovation, Connected Energy Group, at Cisco Systems Inc. She has been with Cisco since September, 1999, and previously worked in the CTO Consulting Engineering group directing strategic activities in security, mobility, identity, and other technology areas.[1][2]
Career History
- Barbara has been working in the Internet community for more than 20 years.
- She is one of the pioneers of the CERT Coordination center.
- She has been a part of the IETF since 1989.
- She also chaired the IPsec working group.
- From the year 2000 to 2003, Barbara was a trustee for the Internet Society.[3]
- Barbara has been the director of Pir.org
- She was also the Senior Member of the Technical Staff at Software Engineering Institute.[4]
