Betsy Andrews works in the Public Responsibility Support department of ICANN org. She oversees research and programs covering a broad range of diversity, human rights, and educational topics to support lowering barriers to participation in Internet Governance processes. Betsy manages ICANN's free and open online learning platform ICANN Learn.

Career History

Betsy has an academic background with a PhD in gender theory and English literature. In addition to teaching English literature at several universities, she has also worked in marketing and business development for the Institute of Chartered Foresters in Edinburgh (Scotland) and Turner Construction in Washington, DC (USA).

ICANN and Internet Governance Participation

Betsy began working for ICANN in December 2015. Her first ICANN meeting was ICANN 55 in Marrakech, Morocco.
