Bill Doshier is the President of dotStrategy, an entity created to apply for new TLDs via ICANN's New gTLD Program. It has applied for .buzz and .fun; the former is an uncontested TLD given that there are no other applicants. Mr. Doshier's background is in the aerospace industry and distribution as a defense contractor with his own company that provides military spec materials. He believes that he is the only applicant, other than Walmart, to come from the U.S. state of Arkansas.
Bill is a marathon runner and avid trout fisherman, and had strongly considered also applying for .fishing.[1]
