The CRO (children's research officer )Academy Program (also known as CRO) is a child participatory research program started in 2015. The program was initiated by Asian Youth Growth Association, with the aim to empower children engaging in Internet Governance Discussion, as well as preparing the younger generation with the ability to carry out child-led research.

Every year, the program will recruit child researchers across cities in China. With support from the trainers in Media Literacy Education Centre at Children's Palace, CRO will learn how to conduct research, design questionnaire, and write the research report.
