Chris LaHatte is the current ICANN Ombudsman, and he has held this position since July, 2011. Prior to this, he was a Barrister for 33 years. His role in ICANN is centered around dispute resolution.[1] He is a member of Building Adjudicators. He is a Fellow of AMINZ in Mediation and Arbitration. He is an editor for Brookers District Court Procedure. Chris is a Costs Assessor and Mediator for the New Zealand Law Society in Auckland and Wellington.[2]
