In September, 2008, EURid, the European registry for .eu, announced the addition of a second anycast network to be operated by Community DNS ltd. using the Community DNS Anycast Resolution System. [6]

In October, 2009, the University of Maryland entered into an agreement with CommunityDNS as part of the Maryland International Incubator Programme.[7]
