Cybele Negris has been the co-founder and president of the .ca registrar, Webnames.ca[1]. She is responsible for driving growth and expansion of the company, starting from its formation in 2000, where Negris and her partners assembled a team of 30 people and led the company through a growth period of $2.5 million in revenues that the first year.[2]
Negris is the Vice Chair on the Board of Directors for Government of Canada's Small Business Round Table and the non-profit Small Business BC. She is also a member of the Board for the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs, and was formerly on the board for the Vancouver Economic Development Commission.[3]
