Professional Experience
Currently, she is working on a project called “Science, education and learning in freedom” that aims at creating an on-line platform for developing free educational materials on Free Software and Open Standards.[1]
She is also involved in the development of two important EU projects: Tossad (or Towards Open Source Software Adoption and Dissemination) and Flossworld and the start of another called Self, which is a platform for Science, Education and Learning in Freedom. [2]
Since 2004, Dessi Pefeva is the project manager of Creative Commons Bulgaria initiative. She is responsible for two of the most important websites for Creative Commons' activities in Bulgaria: openculture.net (an on-line portal) and the official blog: http://cc.isoc.bg. [3]
