Elisa Cooper is the Director of Project Marketing at MarkMonitor, where she has been since 2002 and has progressed through a number of other roles, including Director of Marketing and Director of Product Management.[1] Her current responsibilities include domain management, online brand protection, messaging strategy and management, and customer education. During her time at MarkMonitor, she has consistently worked with Fortune1000 companies to develop their domain management and online brand strategies.
Ms. Cooper is currently serving as a member of the Executive Committee of ICANN's Consumer Stakeholder Group (CSG), and represents that body as a liaison on the Business Constituency. Her participation with the ICANN industry also includes educating outside groups about the organization and how its decisions can impact their business, such as holding a "Tips for Trademark Owners" webinar on the new gTLD "reveal day" for Law Seminars International.[2] She is also active within the International AntiCounterfeiting Coalition, International Trademark Association, the IGF and other related international industry fora.[3] Elisa is a frequent speaker at industry events, such as the 2012 Online Trust Forum.[4]
