Elliott Mann is a undergraduate student at Swinburne University of Technology studying Law and Computer Science majoring in Cyber-Security. He was selected as a NextGen@ICANN candidate at ICANN64 and presented on current issues in Indonesian Data Protection Law. He is interested in issues surrounding Privacy & Data Protection, Cyber-Security and Intellectual Property Protection.

Career History

CIE Legal (2017-Present)

Elliott is currently employed as a paralegal at CIE Legal, an innovative small law firm based in Melbourne, Australia. Alongside general legal work, he also develops legal technology platforms dealing with document automation and management, e-learning platforms, and the movement of the legal workspace onto the cloud.

Education

Elliott currently undertaking undergraduate studies at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia. He will graduate with both a Bachelor of Computer Science and a Bachelor of Laws as part of Swinburne's Double Degree program. As part of his program, Elliott is specializing in Intellectual Property and Cyber-Security

Alongside his studies in Australia, from August 2018 to December 2019 Elliott partook in an academic exchange to Universitas Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. While there, Elliott studied Bahasa Indonesia alongside various Indonesian and International Law units.
