Göran Marby is the former CEO and President of ICANN, he stepped down in December 2022 and was succeeded by Sally Costerton as Interim President and CEO.[1] Prior to his position with ICANN, Marby was the Director General at the Swedish Post & Telecom Agency in Stockholm, Sweden. On February 8, 2016 ICANN announced that Marby would become the next CEO, joining the organization in May 2016. [2] Marby replaced Fadi Chehadé in March, 2016.
