Geoff Bickers is the Director of Security Operations at ICANN.[1] He joined ICANN in October 2008 and is responsible for IT security, as well as personnel and physical security matters.[2]
He attend ICANN Nairobi[3] ICANN Silicon Valley[4] and ICANN Cartagena De Indias.[5]
Career History
Earlier in his career, he was a Special Agent at Federal Bureau of Investigation for 20 years, where conducted investigations of computer intrusions, cyber crimes and national Security cyber matters.Prior to which he was a Project Manager at The Anschutz Corporation. From 1981-1984, he was the Project Geophysicist at Amoco. Mr. Bickers worked as a Project Engineer at Bechtel in the beginning of his career.[6]
Education
He holds a BS in Geophysics from the University of California, Berkeley.
