At in-person ICANN Meetings, ICANN graciously provides a booth for ICANNWiki. This space is usually located within close proximity to the ICANN Information booth. For each conference, ICANN chooses two volunteers to maintain their booth space. We often work closely with these volunteers as they can be useful in orienting newcomers to the ICANN space. The ICANNWiki booth is a fun social space. Our booth is a highly-trafficked one, with an outgoing, knowledgable presence.
The booth is a great place:
- to meet new people, learn, and grow.
- to get answers to conference questions.
- to pick up ICANNWiki swag, such as fun collectible playing card decks and conference badges. Each deck features our caricatures of community members and honors the work they do. The badges are a beloved item for conference-goers and we believe they deepen the sense of community and cohesion.
- to tell us what you would like to see on ICANNWiki. Tell us your ideas for improving and adding content to the website. The site is a community resource that should consistently grow. We are happy to help people build an article about themselves and/or other topics.
