ايكان هي اختصار لاسم شركة الإنترنت للأسماء والأرقام المخصصة ،,اسماء النطاقات. مؤسسة خاصة غير ربحية لادارة الانترنت ،,اسماء النطاقات DNS, عناوين البروتوكولات ، وارقام النظام الذاتي لسجلات الانترنت , والهيكله التي تندرج تحتها. وتعمل حسب نموذج تعددية الاطراف.
