Jean Guillon is active in providing comments and recommendations on different issues being discussed by the ICANN community in the public forum. In March, 2011, he was chosen as one of the volunteers for the GNSO Study Group on Use of Names of Countries and Territories.[7]

Guillon holds a Master Degree in Marketing Management and Communication and a Bachelors of Science in Business. He also holds an Advance Technician Certificate (Brevet de Technicien Supérieur).[8]
