Jim Bidzos is the founder of Verisign, Inc. He is also the current Chief Executive Officer and President of the company. He assumed the positions on August 1, 2011 after Mark Mclaughlin, resigned on July 27. [1] Since 2007, Bidzos has been serving the company as Chairman of the Board of Directors.[2]
In 1995, Mr. Bidzos established Verisign. He was the first President, CEO and Chairman of the Board until 2001. From 2001 to 2007, he served as Vice Chairman of the company. In 2008, the Board of Directors of the company appointed him as interim CEO and Chairman after the resignation of William Roper.[3] During the same period, Bidzos also served as Director of Verisign Japan K.K until August 2010..[4]
