Jonathon Nevett is the President and CEO of Public Interest Registry (PIR). Prior to joining PIR, Nevett co-founded Donuts, Inc and served as an Executive Vice President from November 2010 to October 2018.

Since May 2017, Jon has been a member of the eco Association Names & Numbers Steering Committee.[1]

Career History

Jon was the Chair of the Registrars Constituency from 2006 until 2009.

He was the Vice President of Policy and Ethics at Network Solutions from Auguest 2004 until December 2009[2] and was responsible for corporate relationship with ICANN as well as government agencies and legislative bodies. Jon was also responsible for managing Network Solutions business ethics policy and corporate compliance program.

Prior to Network Solutions Jon worked at MCI, Inc. directing a legal team that was responsible for providing legislative, regulatory and business law support to MCI's Mass Markets Division. Prior to that, Jon was an associate with the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis, where he represented corporate clients in complex litigation, antitrust matters, internal investigations, and mergers and acquisitions.

Jon received his Juris Doctor cum laude from Harvard Law School and his undergraduate degree with honors from Binghamton University.[3]
