Jonathon Nevett is the President of Domain Name Consultancy, Domain Dimensions. Previously, he was the Vice President of Policy and Ethics at Network Solutions and was responsible for corporate relationship with ICANN as well as government agencies and legislative bodies. Jon was also responsible for managing Network Solutions business ethics policy and corporate compliance program.

In a letter dated December 8th, NAME, along with twenty-seven other domain name industry participants, wrote to Sen. Jay Rockefeller and Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison to support ICANN's new gTLD program, in response to the Senate Hearings taking place on the same day. They supported ICANN's argument that the program would be innovative and economically beneficial, and that the program had taken lots of people a long time to develop, hence it had not been rushed.[1] Read the letter here.

Career History

Jon was the chair of the Registrars Constituency from 2006 until 2009.

Prior to Network Solutions Jon worked at MCI, Inc. directing a legal team that was responsible for providing legislative, regulatory and business law support to MCI's Mass Markets Division.

Prior to that, Jon was an associate with the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis, where he represented corporate clients in complex litigation, antitrust matters, internal investigations, and mergers and acquisitions.

Jon received his juris doctor cum laude from Harvard Law School and his undergraduate degree with honors from Binghamton University.
