Kevin Wilson became Chief Financial Officer of ICANN in June, 2007. His background includes 25 years of experience in the finance and accounting world, and has worked for a number of IT companies. After leaving ICANN in 2011, Mr. Wilson joined the gTLD consultancy company, Sedari, as Chief Financial Officer. After a brief period, he was fired due to disputes with Liz Williams, CEO of Sedari. Kevin Wilson then filed a lawsuit alleging various frauds and demanding that his investment of 50,000 euros should be reimbursed.[1][2]

Career and Education

He graduated from UCLA obtaining Masters of Business Administration in finance. He also graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor degree in Human Biology. Kevin Wilson started his career working in the US Peace Corps in South Korea. Afterwards he moved to the financial and accounting department for various types of enterprises. His career spans over a 25-year long period, in which he gained valuable experience and knowledge. His work carried him in start-up companies, real estate, consulting, technology manufacturing and accounting. It was during his accounting job when he received his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. Between 2007 and 2011, Kevin held the title of Chief Financial Officer at ICANNWIki and was in charge of all the financial aspects regarding the company. [3]
