Kevin Wilson became Chief Financial Officer of ICANN in June, 2007. His background includes 25 years of experience in the finance and accounting world, and has worked for a number of IT companies. After leaving ICANN in 2011, Mr. Wilson joined the gTLD consultancy company, Sedari, as Chief Financial Officer. After a brief period, he was fired due to disputes with Liz Williams, CEO of Sedari. Kevin Wilson then filed a lawsuit alleging various frauds and demanding that his investment of 50,000 euros should be reimbursed.[1][2] Information regarding the salaries of Mr. Wilson and other senior staffers at ICANN, which were released by the organization in February, 2012, can be found here.

Education and Career

Mr. Wilson graduated from UCLA with a MBA, and having previously graduated from Stanford University with a bachelor degree in Human Biology. Kevin Wilson started his career working in the US Peace Corps in South Korea. Afterwards he moved to the financial and accounting department for various types of enterprises. His career has seen him working in start-up companies, real estate, consulting, technology manufacturing and accounting.[5]
