Typical projects Chasquinet has and is undertaking are the creation and co-ordination of the Somos@Telecentros, (www.tele- centros.org), the regional network of Telecentres in Latin America and the Caribbean, whose project manager Mr. Stoll is at the moment, BarrioNet (www.barrionet.org) and Street Children projects (www.chasquinet.org/ninosdelacalle) to name some. Chasquinet is fully committed to promote the non commercial use of the Internet and very much involved in the policy discussions regarding information technologies in LAC and worldwide.
