Knut Nylænde can point to a successful carrier as businessman[1]. He is often commended for his strategic planning skills, as well as for his expertise in financial management including investing in and participating in the development of smaller companies with a growth potential.

Business and Career

Knut Nylænde was known as Founder and CEO of Moxie AS[2] since 1999, a investment firm[3] based in Oslo, Norway that aims to assist the start-ups company in its business development. . He was previously a Manager and State Authorized Public Accountant at Grimsrud & Co. and served as the Group Chief Executive Officer/Group Chief Financial Officer of an international investment and trading company.[4]

Education

He received his education from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and the BI Norwegian Business School[5], two of the most prominent institutions of higher education in Norway. Outside the professional realm, Knut enjoys reading about History, Genealogy, Conservation, Religion, Economics, Science and Politics. Some of his favourite books are the classic Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, The Growth of the Soil by Knut Hamsun, and Guns, Germs, and Steel by Jared Diamond. He is also a fervent enthusiast of numismatics and water sports such as swimming and diving.
