Hakobyan's career in the domain business started in 2010. It was completely new to her being involved in the field of the domain registration services. Communications with professionals and investigations in that area helped her to understand all details. Currently, she works in Global AM LLC. The company is an accredited registrar in .am and .հայ zones. From Oct 2016 till November 2017 she has managed GlobalR.com project. It provides registry gateway service for .am and .ge zones all over the world. Now she is busy with ccTLD integrations to the GlobalR.com platform.
