Before founding Internet Identity, Mr. Harvey founded two businesses in the web area and held management roles in business-to-business companies. He is also a participant in different industry security groups such as Online Trust Alliance, Digital PhishNet, and the Anti-Phishing Working Group. [2]

Internet Identity is an Internet security company established in 1996 in Washington. Its main objective is to provide services that include domain control and malware and Internet security. These services are provided mostly to financial service firms, on-line commerce, social networking and Internet Service Providers. Microsoft uses IID's anti-phishing software in its Domain Defense Program.[3]
