Professional Experience and Awards

Lesley Cowley has been Chief Executive at Nominet since 2002. Her responsibilities involve leading Nominet and plan and control the strategies' implementation.[1]

Nominet is a domain registry non-profit company that acts in the interest of all .uk stakeholders with approx. 3000 members. [2] The company has a long standing commitment to becoming a leader in matter of internet governance. As part of this commitment, Lesley Cowley has been a member of the Country Code Names Supporting Organisation (ccNSO) at ICANN since 2007, being appointed as Chair in 2011. [3] Among others, Lesley Cowley is also a respected member of different boards, among which:
