Luis Forlan is the Director of Guatemala's ccTLD, .gt, at the University de Valle de Guatemala. He has been a professor of Computer Science since 1970, and has been working as the director of the University's management of .gt since 1992.

He is also a member of ISOC, IEEE, and LACTLD.

Prof. Forlan was elected as the president of CLARA, the advanced network for Latin America in August, 2010. [1]
