Lynn St. Amour is the President of the Internet Society (ISOC).

Professional experience

After graduating University of Vermont, Lynn St. Amour began her career working for General Electric Corporation. After GE, she occupied numerous management positions for Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) among which we enumerate:

  • Director of Pricing for Sales and Marketing in Europe (established the European Pricing Office)
  • Corporate Strategic Alliance Director (responsible for a number of strategic initiatives at a corporate level
  • led the Sales and Product Forecasting teams
  • Leader of the worlwide Capacity Management Team[1]

The experience gained afterwards within AT&T as a director of Business Development and Joint Venture Operations for Europe, Middle East and Africa helped her lead negotiation team and development of several telecommunications joint ventures with leading European companies. Currently she is President/CEO of the Internet Society (ISOC). The first position she held in ISOC was in 1998 as a Executive Director of Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) division.
