Manuel Sanroma is the head of the Foundation PuntCAT which was established with the purpose of managing .CAT TLDs for the Catalan language.
In 2002, Manuel Sanroma was the representative of PuntCAT at the XII Congreso de Valores de Empresa Y Sociedad which took place in Barcelona. [1]
Between PuntCAT and ICANN there is a Sponsored TLD Registry Agreement. [2]
Current position
Apart from being the head of the Foundation PuntCAT, Manuel Sanroma is also Director of the URV ( Universitat Rovira I Virgili) and the Chair of Science and Humanism at the same university. [3]

Manuel Sanroma was the founder member of TINET (Tarragona Internet) which was created in 1995. Since 2005, he was also the Director of information systems of the Santa Tecla Health and Social Network.[4]
