Martha R. Johnston is the Director of Government Relations at GoDaddy.[1] She is also the Head of Lobbying Operations at The Washington Post Company.

She is on the Advisory Committee of Digital Dialog Forum.[2]

Career History

Ms. Johnston started her career working for Senator Mitch McConnell. In 1981, she became the Administrative Assistant of Bob Packwood and worked with him till 1983. She has also worked with other senators including Ted Stevens (R-AK), Mark Hatfield (R-OR) and Sam Nunn (D-GA).[3]

She has also worked as Director of Legislative Affairs for the Federal Communications Commission

Ms. Martha joined US Information Agency as the Director of Legislative and Congressional Affairs in 1989. In 1991, she joined the Department of State and held the same position.[4]

In 1998, she joined the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and worked there till 2001 as a Lobbyist.[5] Since 2006, she has been working at GoDaddy as the Director of Government Relations.[6]
