Matt transferred to KPMG’s US team in 2004 where he was tasked to expand the group’s channel and supplier compliance footprint growing the team from three to 20 dedicated resources plus significantly increasing the technology client base the service line serves. His experience resulted in the broadening of KPMG’s supplier and channel offerings to provide advisory offerings over the complete lifecycle of partner relationships, identifying process/control gaps (in on-boarding new entities, pricing and monitoring opportunities etc) as well as setting up and performing compliance programs.
Working with his technology clients, KPMG’s focus on the reliance of third party relationships for the success of businesses now includes specialized compliance reviews relating to their suppliers. These projects include Most Favored Customer (MFC) of contract manufacturers and component suppliers plus other indirect relationships (eg facilities management, contractors etc).
