Nigel Cassimire has been serving as a Telecommunications Specialist at Caribbean Telecommunications Union since July 2005. He started independant consultancy in 2005.[1] He has over 24 years of experience in telecommunication industry. He has vast knowledge in telecommunications technologies and services and is now working in telecommunications policy development at the Secretariat.[2]

Events

Nigel attended LACNIC caribbean meetings in 2008 and 2009.[3][4] He participated in ICANN Meetings in Brazil on December 7, 2006.[5]

Education

Nigel has Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Engineering as well as a Diploma in Management Studies. He studied at University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus from 1974 to 1986.[6] He is a fellow of the Telecommunications Engineering and Management Institute of Canada (TEMIC) and an alumnus of the Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD, Fountainbleau, France.[7]
