The No More Ransom (NMR) project is a website initiative led by the Dutch police's National High Tech Crime Unit, Europol’s European Cybercrime Centre, Kaspersky, and McAfee to help victims retrieve encrypted data without paying the criminals. NMR also educates users about how ransomware works and possible countermeasures.[1]
