Ole J. Jacobsen is the Editor and Publisher of The Internet Protocol Journal.[1] Which is published quarterly. Currently he possess more than 20 years publishing experience in Internet technical information.

He was introduced to networking when early ARPANET was established in 1976. His first involvement was with the Norwegian Defense Research Establishment.

He serves on the board of the Asia Pacific Internet Association which hosts the annual APRICOTevent. In March 2008 he was appointed by the IESG to serve as a member of the Internet Administrative Oversight Committee (IAOC). He also serves as an Attendee at NANOG and an Attendee at RIPE Community.[2]
