Ole J. Jacobsen is the Editor and Publisher of The Internet Protocol Journal.[1] The journal is published 4 times per year and covers all aspects of Internet technologies in a non-vendor specific fashion. Ole was with Interop Company (now CMP United Business Media) since shortly after its formation in 1987 until 1998. He was the Editor and Publisher of ConneXions--The Interoperability Report, published by Interop Company. Thanks to the Charles Babbage Institute at the University of Minnesota, the ConneXions archive is available online.[2]

He serves on the board of the Asia Pacific Internet Association (http://apia.org) which hosts the annual APRICOT (http://www.apricot.net) event. In March 2008 he was appointed by the IESG to serve as a member of the Internet Administrative Oversight Committee (IAOC) (http://iaoc.ietf.org/).
