Perkumpulan Pengelola Nama Domain Internet Indonesia (PANDI) is the registry operator for Indonesia's .id ccTLD.[1] The organization is not-for-profit, and includes representatives of Indonesia's government as well as stakeholders in the Indonesian internet community.[2]

.id

The .id domain is an Open Use ccTLD with no geographic restrictions at the top level. Several second-level domains are restricted or reserved for specific uses by Indonesian citizens or business entities. Others are open for registration.[3] As of February 2023, the domain had approximately 726,000 active registrations.[4]

There are 13 second-level domains associated with .id, and the most commonly used are:

.id - which is the general ccTLD. It’s available for individuals (local citizens and foreigners) and legal entities.

.co.id - It’s reserved for Indonesian businesses. To register, you must provide any of the following Indonesian documents: SIUP - License for businesses to trade goods and services in Indonesia. TDP - Company Registration Certificate. AKTA - Article of Association. NPWP - Tax Identification Number

.web.id - For personal websites and informal businesses (local citizens and foreigners). The official requirements include an ID card or passport.

.my.id - For personal websites and blogs. It's available for individuals (local citizens and foreigners) and legal entities.

.biz.id - It’s for small and medium-sized businesses. It’s available for individuals (local citizens and foreigners) and legal entities.[5]
