Patrick joined ICANN in 2006,[3] after working for nearly five years with a law firm in Washington, D.C., where he assisted with domain name protection and intellectual property enforcement for a variety of clients, including the International Olympic Committee and the American Red Cross. In addition, Patrick provided government relations and policy consulting on new TLDs. From 2001-2005, Patrick maintained UDRPlaw.net, an informational website on domain name disputes.
