Paul Diaz is currently the Director of Policy for PIR; he has held this position since October, 2011.[1] He is the former Policy Manager at Network Solutions, where he began in 1998 and was responsible for handling ICANN-related issues, corporate advocacy at the local, state and federal levels, and administering Network Solutions' business ethics program.

Prior to joining Network Solutions, Paul spent six and half years as an intelligence officer working with the Central Intelligence Agency, and focused on Latin America. He has traveled throughout Mexico, Central America, and Colombia.

Paul received his Masters of Public Policy from the Kennedy School at Harvard University, and his undergraduate degree (with honors, Phi Beta Kappa) from Trinity College in Hartford, C.T.[2]
