Sabarinath received his degree in Communication Engineering from ANNA University, Chennai, India and is currently pursuing his Ph.D at Cochin University of Science and Technology, Cochin. After a brief tenure as network engineer at Information Kerala Mission (IKM-Kerala), he took up position as full time lecturer at St. Joseph's College of Engineering and Technology, Palai (SJCET). He was later promoted as Asst. Professor at the School of Electronics.

Sabarinath held a vital role in purchase and setting up of laboratory infrastructure at SJCET. He has held various leadership positions as Faculty adviser of the ISTE Student Chapter of SJCET, Asst. Superintendent of Examinations, SJCET Center of M.G. University, Faculty in charge of various laboratories and Branch Counselor of the IEEE Student Branch #63791. He was awarded with the Outstanding Branch Counselor award from IEEE Kerala Section and from IEEE headquarters, NY.

He currently works with Internet Society, Trivandrum Chapter in the capacity of Treasurer and also propagates the importance of Internet, its proper usage and Governance in academia.
