Santiago Ruiz Barragán is an Advisor at the International Office of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies of Colombia. He is currently helping in the translation of several articles of ICANNWiki from english to spanish. He is based in Bogotá D.C., Colombia.
Career History
Ministry of ICT (August 2017-Present)
Santiago has been working as an Advisor at the International Office of the Information and Communication Technologies Ministry of Colombia since August of 2017. He began working in the translation process with ICANNWiki since November 2017. In this role, his responsibilities include translating the articles that Dustin Phillips sends over and uploading them to the ICANNWiki website, and also to inform any inconsistency in the translation process, which may include templates, watchlist among others.

Previous to receiving his BA, Santiago did an internship at the Embassy of Colombia in Germany, working at the Division of Politics and Human Rights.
Education
Santiago received a BA in Political Science from the University of los Andes in 2014. He is also a Law student at the same University,pending his graduation on march 2018.
