Sebastian Castro Avila represented Latin America on the ccNSO's IANA Work Group.[1] He currently works as a DNS expert at .nz Registry Services.[2] He formerly worked at NIC Chile,[3] and represented the organization at ICANN meetings, and workshops.[4] Mr.Castro worked with The Cooperative Association of Internet and Data Analysis to run tests on the NIC Chile's servers; this infomration was able to provide CAIDA with valuable information regarding the stability and condition of the DNS.[5]

Sebastian Castro has worked at NIC Chile as a DNS Administrator, at CAIDA as a DNS analyst, and as an Instructor's Assistant at the University of Chile.[6]
