Prior to joining [[ICANN]] he was Policy Advisor with the Regulatory Authority in the Netherlands Antilles. As a part of his responsibilities he acted as a liaison with the regional Caribbean organizations involved in ICT. Previously, he worked for almost nine years with the local telecommunications incumbent UTS/Setel in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles.
