Stéphane Van Gelder was CEO of TLD Fastrack Limited. The firm provides a one-stop-shop solution for prospective New Internet Suffix (New gTLD) operators.

Before launching TLD Fastrack Limited, Stéphane was Executive Vice President of StartingDot, the registry operator for the TLDs .archi, .bio and .ski. Stéphane was also General Manager of Indom, a corporate domain registrar which he cofounded in 1999.

He passed away on the 26th of March 2018, after being involved in a motorcycle crash.

Stéphane was elected Vice Chair of the GNSO Council in 2009 and Chair the following year. He was re-elected as GNSO Council Chair at the 2011 Dakar ICANN meeting.
