Thomas De Haan is a Board member at the World Art Delft Foundation, and Senior Policy Coordinator at the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications. He represents the Netherlands in a number of international forums, including in ICANN's Governmental Advisory Committee, and the CENTR assemblies.
De Haan has given talks concerning how private entities and governments can work together to foster a more secure Internet at a 2010 IGF workshop.
Thomas has been involved in further developing VoIP and ENUM for the Netherlands.
He started his career as an Industrial Designer at Philips Mexicana. He has been a Researcher at OECD, Consultant at OPTA and Project Leader at Alcatel. He chaired NLEG in 2001.
