Thomas Rickert has been a lawyer and partner with Schollmeyer & Rickert since 1998; he is also currently acting as the Chair of the Names and Numbers division at the Association of the German Internet, eco. He has been a member and participant within eco since 1999. Both of these positions are set to expand in scope and work as the new gTLD process is implemented.[1]
