Veronica Cretu is currently the President of the Training Center "CMB" and also an International Expert with Critical Thinking Program at Open Society Institute in New York. CMB Training Center (Romanian Cel Mai Bun, which means, “The Best”), is an NGO looking to promote innovations in Management, Communication and Business. [1]
Previous Professional Experiences
Throughout her work experience, Veronica Cretu was involved in several important projects such as:
- In 2003 she coordinated a project supported by the US Embassy on "Creating Job Opportunities for Women in Moldova"
- 2003-2006, a project called "Developing Critical Thinking and Career Planning Skills"
- 2005, “Creating a Sustainable Informational Framework in the Field of Social Protection and Labor Rights" [2]
Veronica Cretu and ICANN
As of May 2007, Veronica Cretu became a Member of ICANN At Large Advisory Committee. Her role was to help get internet users that are involved in decisions regarding ICANN and promote cultural diversity in the online world. Recently, she was also selected by ISOC Ambassadors to participate in IGF@Rio Fellowship Program and represent the community of internet users. [3]
